INAUGURATION OF THE MARINE TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY

SRI SAIRAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science of Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai was proud to inaugurate The Marine Technology Society on 25.08.2022 with guidance and support of Chairman & CEO Shri Sai Prakash Leo Muthu.

 

 

Dr. K Porkumaran, Principal of Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chairman, IEEE Madras Section delivered welcome address and Dr. Palanikumar K, Principal of Sri Sairam Institute of Technology delivered a special address to the gatherings. .

Dr. Swagata Sarkar, Head of the Department was honoured as The Marine Technology Society Councillor of Sri Sairam engineering College, Chennai.

The dignitaries were felicitated by the marine technology society and Sri Sairam Engineering College.

Dr. R Venkatesan, Chairman, MTS India Section delivered the inaugural address and shared the benefits of being MTS Student Branch. He also gave a detailed explanation about the society activities. He also encouraged the students to work in all fields. Mini Seminar on the topic Introduction to MTS and Ocean Technology,

A Presidential Speech was delivered by Ms Zdenka Willis, President, MTS was played and

she congratulated and shared her best wishes for the newly inaugurated MTS branch.

Shri Sai Prakash Leo Muthu, Chairman & CEO, Sri Sairam Engineering College delivered an inspirational talk motivated all participants and showcase the importantance of the 14th Sustainable Development Goal, “Life below water”.

Mr. Antony Jacob Ashish shared the Success Story of Planys Technology Chennai. Dr.Preetha, Professor, SRM University delivered Tech Talk on MTS

The Success story of MTS Society at Sri Sairam College of Engineering, Bangalore was delivered by Dr. B Shadaksharappa,, Principal, Sri Sairam College of Engineering, Bangalore.

It was a very insightful event over all, and students benefitted a lot with great insight of new society.

At the end of the Mrs.D.Jena Catherine Bel, MTS Coordinator, Sri Sairam Engineering College proposed the vote of thanks.
